This year all my Halloween decor followed one simple design principle. The Halloween and autumn color orange. This created a harmonious view for not only one, but six different Halloween decor designs! Get the details of this Halloween Centerpiece below.

While we don’t entertain like we used, I still love to decorate for the holidays. Typically I don’t decorate for Halloween other than to pull out my Jim Shore Heartwood Creek Halloween black cat light lamp. But while shopping one day I was inspired by a few Halloween decor pieces.

As they say, the rest is history.

The best part of this centerpiece is its’ ability to easily transition from fall to halloween and back again. All I would need to do is simply take out the Halloween elements, keeping the cottage house, lighted tree, leaves, pumpkins and I’m back ready for fall.

That makes this Halloween decor not only transitional but also budget friendly. That’s a win-win in my book!

There is nothing worse than buying holiday decor that you already have or that you don’t need. That’s why I’ve found the best way to keep my holiday decor organized is in my planner using this Autumn Decor Tracker Printable.

Autumn Decor Tracker Printable

One of the easiest ways to stay organized once the autumn seasons arrives is with our tracker.

I can create a tracker for a specific holiday or just create a master list and work off of that. Each year as the holidays approach I will pull out my decor tracker and see what I might need or not need.

Halloween Table Centerpiece

One good point to make about this Halloween Table Centerpiece is that every piece is ready-made. Meaning if you are not a DIY kind of person, this design has you covered.

One thing to note is if you love how my Halloween centerpiece turned out it’s best to check out the stores now before all the Halloween decor is gone.

It might be a little hard to tell, especially with the sun glaring off the neighbors house, but isn’t that warm glow of the lighted elements just so cozy?! You can also catch a glimpse of the other Halloween decor in the background.

Looking back at my photos now I see I should have swapped out the lighted pumpkin cloche with the small candle on the opposite side. That way there is a warm glow from all sides.

Light Up Maple Tree

While it wasn’t my initial design idea, this light up maple tree ended up becoming the focal point of this table decor design.

The orange leaves paired perfectly with the fall foliage stems in the Halloween Sweets Coffee Table Tray Idea. Again you can see a little bit of the tray decor in the background of some photos.

Our table is partially in a corner where there is no window so once the tree is lite up it gives such a warm glow and ambiance to the space. At least it does when the sun isn’t glaring off the neighbors house into our kitchen door.

Added bonus is this lighted tree is also perfect for fall decor!

Cozy Autumn Cottage House

While this wasn’t quite the scale of the other design elements, measuring 7.5″ high by 6″ wide, it still complemented the overall design. This cottage was just one of a few viral Hobby Lobby finds and now I wish I had grabbed the other ones.

To help raise up the house to a more closer scale to the rest of the elements I used a small wooden tray riser that I had on hand. Now the overall design doesn’t look unbalanced. But isn’t that cottage house adorable?! Again, other great find that will easily transition for autumn decor.

Spooky Harvest Extras

Once you have the main feature or focal decor elements down, you can fill in the Halloween table centerpiece using smaller decor elements. Such as candles, small pumpkin bowls (for candy!), small coordinating pictures and petite pumpkins.

Since my design was a spooky harvest with a light up leaf tree, it only made sense to scatter some fallen leaves across the table. That was the finishing touch!

Using Small Art Prints As Fillers

Another unique way to fill in some gaps or to add smaller coordinating touches to your centerpiece is to use small art prints. Adding in a few small wall art pictures helped fill in some gaps.

Of course I had to use the witch flying on a broomstick since I did incorporate a distressed witch hat as one of the main focal elements.

I was even able to use one of the art prints, the roses, in my craft room. This is a view of my planning desk, which I love!
